Warheads brand sponsors ESPN’s 2009 Winter X
Games. Warheads extreme sour candy provided the fuel
for both fans and athletes at the 2009 EXPN Winter
X Games in Aspen, CO. Through an innovative sponsorship
agreement, Impact Confections partnered with the premier
event to drive awareness in its most important demographic.
Fans were treated
to three days of booth sampling, sour pucker face
competitions, skate board and tee shirt giveaways,
half pipe signage and an overall invasion of the signature
Warheads sour candy.

of Warheads Marketing, said “This is our first
year tieing in with the event and the response was
overwhelming. We share the same fan base so it was
fun for everyone. We plan to expand our partnership
in future years.”
Warheads is a 23 year
old brand that in the last 2 years has received significant
marketing investment and attention. And the retail
results are showing it with the brands new products
outperforming all other sour competitors when head
to head in the checkout aisles. The brand enjoys 69%
unaided awareness amongst teens and tweens who enjoy
its edgy, daring personality.
